Water is life – our pool and “our” sea

The hotel’s pool, a gem in the verdant oasis of the inner courtyard, invites you to relax and indulge throughout the day – with snacks and refreshments, of course. In the summer, it is also the backdrop for various events.

Vela Luka is surrounded by a variety of sheltered bays where you can go swimming and sandy beaches that are perfect for enjoying a relaxing seaside holiday, and they can easily be reached from the hotel. For those who prefer a more active holiday, there is a wide range of water sport activities particularly in the summer, including sailing, diving and water skiing. The water quality is so good here that in many places you can see up to 30 metres down and watch the fish – a paradise for divers and snorkellers!

A very special tip is an excursion to the island of Proizd. According to the New York Times, this is one of the 12 most beautiful islands in the world. There are no cars here, and the island is reserved solely for beach visitors – with fantastic vegetation and amazing beaches. The only restaurant on the island belongs to the Hotel Korkyra.
