Arrival
by plane, boat or car
Korcula does not have its own airport, so the only way to get to the island is by boat. The fastest and most convenient way is to travel via Split.
By plane:
During peak season, many airlines offer direct flights to Split, but during low season, there are direct flights only on Saturdays. Otherwise, arrival by plane will involve a stopover in Zagreb. Attention: If you do not land before 1:00 pm, you will have to spend the night in Split.
By car:
Travel by motorway to Split, then continue by boat. Other alternatives include travelling by car or train to Ancona, and taking the ferry from there to Korcula.
There are also affordable options for travelling by bus from many European cities.
Boat:
Ferries travel daily from Split to Vela Luka – a ferry for passengers only (a fast catamaran that takes around two hours) and a car ferry (that takes three hours). Vela Luka also has a daily ferry connection to Lastovo.
